When you visit www.scheyden.com we recognize only your domain name and not your e-mail address. We will see your e-mail address only if you fill out a form or send us an e-mail message. Contests and Sweepstakes
We may attempt to create sweepstakes, contests and content that require a very minimal amount of information from our users. The sweepstakes and contests conducted on our website sometimes ask users for contact information (like their email addresses) or information about their hobbies, interests or products that they use. Reviewing Personal Information
You may request a copy of the Personal Information that West Coast Trends, Inc. has collected. You may also correct any inaccuracies contained in this Personal Information. We do not charge for information requests, although we may charge you a fee to cover our reasonable costs of actually providing you with a copy of your Personal Information. We will require proof of your identity. Use of This Website by Children
We understand that some children may choose to visit our website and we encourage those visits. However, we recommend that children check with their parents before entering information on any website and that parents discuss with their children restrictions with respect to the types of personal information that they would prefer not be disclosed.

Security
We use reasonable efforts to protect our users’ information. When users submit sensitive information via the Web site, we use reasonable efforts to protect our users’ information both online and off-line. When our registration/order form asks users to enter sensitive information (such as credit card number), that information is encrypted and is protected with encryption software. While on a secure page, such as our order form, the lock icon on the bottom of most Web browsers becomes locked.
When we use software to protect your information online, we also do everything possible to protect your information off-line. All of our users’ information is restricted to our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (such as billing or shipping) are granted access to personally identifiable information.

However, if we are going to use users’ personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time of collection, we will notify users via email. Collection of Respondent Data
West Coast Trends, Inc. will not process Personal Data for other purposes or by other means than instructed by its Users.
Respondent data includes data from individuals uploaded, transferred or manually entered by a West Coast Trends, Inc., User into their account for the purpose of providing feedback, responding to surveys, if any, and/or completing a purchase. Personal Data may include, personal contact information such as name, home address, home telephone or mobile number, email address, information concerning age, date of birth, employment details, business contact details, gender, and other sensitive Personal Data.
If you or your organization are required under the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to enter into a contract, or other binding legal act under EU or Member State law, with your data processors, review and accept West Coast Trends, Inc.’s Terms of Use in your West Coast Trends, Inc. account.

Geographical Location
West Coast Trends, Inc. has one data region located in the United States of America (US). A West Coast Trends, Inc. “Data Region” is a data center located within a defined geographical area where User and Respondent data is stored. For West Coast Trends, Inc. Users with accounts located outside of the US, all data is stored solely in the US, and all domestic US Users’ Personal Data is stored in the US.

Processing in the European Economic Area (EEA)
For Users with accounts located in Europe, all processing of Personal Data is stored in the US, as noted above, and is performed in accordance with privacy rights and regulations following the EU Directive 95/46/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 24 October 1995 (the Directive), and the implementations of the Directive in local legislation. From May 25th, 2018, the Directive and local legislation based on the Directive will be replaced by the Regulations (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of Personal Data and on the free movement of such data, known as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and West Coast Trends, Inc.’s processing will take place in accordance with the GDPR.

Controller
West Coast Trends, Inc. processes Personal Data both as a Processor and as a Controller, as defined in the Directive and the GDPR:
The West Coast Trends, Inc. entity which you as a User entered an agreement with when using West Coast Trends, Inc.’s platform, will be the Controller for User data, as outlined above in “Collection of Respondent Data” section. For Respondent data, as outlined in the “Collection of Respondent data” section, the User will be the Controller in accordance with Directive and GDPR, and West Coast Trends, Inc. will be the Processor.

West Coast Trends, Inc. adheres to the Directive of 1995 and the GDPR from May 25th, 2018.
All data collected by West Coast Trends, Inc. Users for the purpose of providing feedback, responding to surveys, if any, and/or completing a purchase will be stored exclusively in secure hosting facilities. West Coast Trends, Inc. has a data processing agreement in place with its provider, ensuring compliance with the Directive. All hosting is performed in accordance with the highest security regulations. All transfers of data internally in the EEA is done in accordance with this data processing agreement.

Processing in the United States of America (US)
For Users with accounts in the West Coast Trends, Inc. US Data Region, West Coast Trends, Inc. processes data solely in data centers located in the US. West Coast Trends, Inc. has adopted reasonable physical, technical and organizational safeguards which substantially mirror the EU safeguards against accidental, unauthorized or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, disclosure, access, use or processing of the User’s data in West Coast Trends, Inc.’s possession. West Coast Trends, Inc. will promptly notify the User in the event of any known unauthorized access to, or use of, the User’s data.

All data collected by West Coast Trends, Inc. Users for the purpose of providing feedback, responding to surveys, if any, and/or completing a purchase will be stored exclusively in secure hosting facilities. West Coast Trends, Inc.’s contract with its hosting provider ensures that all hosting is performed in accordance with the highest security regulations. West Coast Trends, Inc.’s policy is to protect and safeguard any personal information obtained by West Coast Trends, Inc. in accordance with United States state or federal laws governing the protection of personal information and data. Accordingly, West Coast Trends, Inc. adheres to practices and policies that aim to safeguard the data.
